Services and Fees

I currently offer virtual therapy to adults residing in British Columbia.

Individual Therapy ($235 per 50-minute session)

I provide evidence-based treatments to help people achieve their goals, reduce suffering, and improve the quality of their lives. I use a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behaviorual therapy (CBT) and dialectical-behaviour informed therapy (DBT). Cognitive behavioural therapy focuses on helping people change their thoughts and behaviour in ways that allow them to achieve important goals and decrease the intensity of specific emotions. DBT-informed therapy draws upon elements of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) to help people with emotion-based difficulties improve their ability to regulate their emotions, learn to tolerate difficult emotions, increase mindfulness, and improve their interpersonal effectiveness.

Consultation ($235 per 50-minute session)

Consultation is not the same as individual therapy. Typically, consultations are time-limited (1-3 sessions) and focus on helping individuals or family members learn more about certain mental health problems, learn how to effectively support a family member with mental health challenges, and learn self-care strategies. Consultations are not a substitute for psychotherapy and I may suggest that you or a loved one seek therapy services. I will not be able to diagnose or comment specifically on your family member's mental health problems.

Group ($135 / 2 hours)

Check back to see updated group info. Group fees vary based on the type and duration of group.

Funded Services

Please note that in British Columbia, psychological services are not currently covered by Medical Services Plan (MSP). The standard fee recommended for registered psychologists by the B.C. Psychological Association (BCPA) is $235 per clinical hour, which includes documentation. I accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, and e-transfer.

You may be eligible for partial or full coverage of costs for treatment through your extended health benefits. Check with your insurance company (e.g., Pacific Blue Cross, Manulife, Sun Life) to find out about your coverage for services provided by a registered psychologist.

*I do not currently accept ICBC or WorkSafeBC referrals, or referrals that are part of a legal proceeding (for example, law suits, court ordered treatment or custody disputes). If you are needing crisis services, after-hours care, or a therapist who is on-call, please know that I do not offer this level of care.
